Published in 2003, this is the 1st new guide in over 6 years to the New River Gorge. It features the first round of anchor upgrades in the gorge, details several new trail systems, and provides beta on over 65 new sport routes (over 300 routes total). Most routes average 40 to 75 feet in length and are mostly vertical; however, there are also some steep sections and a few big roofs! A small selection of high-quality traditional lines await you, but it's the 135 sport routes--from 5.5 to 5.13--that promise to make your visit memorable. All profits from this book will subsidize anchor replacement and other projects throughout the New River Gorge.
